BEING CRUSHED and DISAPPOINTED many times yet always a lesson!

By Nke Serobe
A little gal and her father were crossing a bridge the father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,"sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river". The little gal said, "No Dad. You hold mine". What's the difference? Asked the puzzled father.

"There's a big difference", replied the little gal. "If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go".

This takes me back that yes I may be disappointed; hurt and crushed by people I trusted and believed in most this morning but...God...I say but God...encourages me that no matter what irrespective if the circumstance I shouldn't really rely nor put my trust in people but if I HOLD ON TO HIS HAND even in that desperate need HE WILL NEVER LET MY HAND GO or leave me desperate*teary eyes* I have seen the hand of God sending a stranger rather than the one you trust and save you and pull you out of the...He's word is YES and AMEN.

He will never leave us nor forsake us and will never let His righteous left stranded that's God and that's the God I serve my sacrificial offering opened and touched the heavens as He looked down He said never will I let you be stranded in a foreign place.

Here's the essence of the story.

IN ANY RELATIONSHIP THE ESSENCE OF TRUST IS NOT IN ITS BIND, BUT IN ITS BOND. SO HOLD THE HAND OF THE PERSON WHOM YOU LOVE RATHER THAN EXPECTING THEM TO HOLD YOURS.
